Alfie’s Story: Saving a Leg, and a Future 🐾

Alfie arrived at the Lancaster shelter with a fractured wrist and a severe heart murmur. His condition was so serious that surgery was put on hold, and amputation was being considered.

Instead, Alfie got the orthopedic surgery he needed at Access Specialty Hospital, where his wrist was repaired. He still has rehabilitation ahead, but he’s healing well and getting stronger every day.

With ongoing care and support, Alfie is on the road to a brighter, healthier future. ❤️
